Verantis has been awarded an order in excess of $21,000,000 (USD)

Lars Buttkus, President and Chief Executive Officer of Verantis Environmental Solutions Group, announced today that the company received an international order for the supply of specialized equipment and engineering services valued over $21,000,000 (USD) for a polysilicon manufacturing plant in the Middle East.

“This is the largest order in our company’s history and clearly demonstrates our strengths in the highly competitive global marketplace by combining our proven technologies into successfully implemented systems,” stated Mr. Buttkus. “This multifaceted project is a perfect example of how Verantis can solve highly complex applications by incorporating technologies such as incineration, baghouse filtration and traditional wet scrubbing technologies. Our solution not only provides zero emissions, it also delivers recovered product through an integrated HCl recovery system to minimize operational cost.”

The project includes a complete process design/build engineering package as well as equipment delivery for the management of liquid and gaseous waste streams. Verantis will execute this project from our engineering hubs in India and Singapore with completion of the project expected in 2013.

Middleburg Heights, OH, March 5, 2012 - Lars Buttkus, President and Chief Executive Officer of Verantis Corporation, announced today that the Company received orders for the supply of specialized equipment and engineering services valued over $5 million (USD) including $1.5m in international orders.

“The latest orders highlight the strong growth of Verantis in Asian markets. More than $1.5 million (USD) of equipment and services will be shipped to clients located in Asia. The required detail engineering as well the project management will be carried out by our engineering teams in India, Singapore and China,” stated Lars Buttkus.

One of the recent projects awarded to Verantis includes the complete process design and engineering package for a liquid and gaseous waste streams at a polysilicon manufacturing plant in South Korea. Verantis Announces the Acquisition of the Assets of Atlanta-Based Andersen 2000
